Fellowship of Athletic Training Students Club |
The Fellowship of Athletic Training Students Club, also known as FAT Club, is made up of students who have been accepted into the Iowa State Athletic Training Program. The club meets once or twice a month to discuss activities, fundraising, and promotion of the athletic training profession. Members are encouraged to attend state, regional, and national athletic training meetings for educational and networking opportunities. In addition to the athletic training program’s clinical assignments members are involved with Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Ames Boys and Girls Club of America, Drake Relays, Iowa High School Wrestling Tournament, Shrine Bowl, and other various athletic events. The Fellowship of Athletic Training Students Club offers opportunities and experiences to students outside of the atheltic training education program.
