Athletic Training Summer Camp

The Iowa State University Athletic Training Summer Camp is designed to give students an inside view of the athletic training profession. The camp is open to all students interested in athletic training. Much of the camp focuses on laboratory experiences in taping techniques and others areas of interest with regards to athletic health care.

All camp activities will be held in the Feldman Athletic Health Care Center in the Jacobson Athletic Complex at Iowa State University. This facility is recognized as one of the top collegiate sports medicine facilities in the country.  It houses state of the art injury treatment and rehabilitation equipment and campers will be exposed to all the facility has to offer and be able to experience first hand use of the SwimEx 700T aquatic therapy pool, ImPACT neuropsychological testing system, the Bod Pod body composition analyzer, and much more. Each student will receive a binder with educational materials to take home for further reference.
