ISU Athletic Training Welcomes New Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers
ISU Athletic Training Welcomes three new GA's for Fall 2012
Iowa State Athletic Training is proud to announce three new graduate assistants will that begin their work with Cyclone Athletics in August of 2012.
Kim Leonard comes to Iowa State from the University of Delaware and will be working with the Iowa State Softball team. Kim has had the opportunity for undergraduate experience with many UD sports including men's and women's lacrosse as well as Blue Hen Football.
Michael Donahue will be a graduate of the University of Iowa and will be working with Cyclone Football. He has extensive undergraduate experience with track and field as well as wrestling, gymnastics, swimming, and research in neuromuscular control.
Kayla Kleihauer will be taking over as the new Head Athletic Trainer at Ames High School. Kayla is an Iowa State alum and has been working locally for McFarland Clinic in their sports medicine and outreach program. She has undergraduate experience with a variety of sports at Iowa State, Drake University, and Ames High School.
Welcome to all three new GA's and we look forward to working with them as they begin their careers in athletic training here at Iowa State.
