Ames High School Athletic Training Room
The Ames High School Athletic Training Room has recently been renovated to better accommodate the up to 70 student-athletes that come through each day. The athletic training room includes a large taping counter, several treatment tables, rehabilitation equipment and modalities, two whirlpools, hydrocollators, ice machine, and office and storage areas. There are currently 6 athletic training students and two certified athletic trainers that cover all of the high school athletic teams. The athletic training staff provides injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation, as well as referral to other health care professionals when needed. The training room provides an excellent facility for care of all athletes and creates a great learning environment for the student athletic trainers.Please click on the thumbnails below to view full size images.
